Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri was an Indian actress who has gained notoriety for her roles in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress was initially famous for the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab and Tezaab, which she co-starred alongside veteran actor Anil Koopor. Her next role was in Dil which she starred alongside Aamir. Her birthplace was in an Mumbai middle-class family and began to dance at a young age. When she was still in high school, she attempted acting, however most of those early films failed. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and she became one of the most prominent actors in the Indian film business. She decided to take a break from her profession after her wedding before returning to the industry of entertainment. Recently, she was a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which eight she won. She was also honored with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honour in India. Her work in the field of social service is popular.
