Jill Hennessy

Jill Hennessy one of Canada's most successful TV actresses was born 25 November 1968, in Edmonton Alberta. She was in Law and Order. Chris Noth was her co-star. Hennessy was raised in Edmonton. John Hennessy, her father was a sales executive/marketing executive as well as a meat salesman. His job demanded regular travel for the family. Her mother Maxine an administrator, quit the family in 1982, leaving her daughter raised by her paternal grandmother Eleanor in Kitchener Ontario. Jacqueline Hennessy is an identical twin who is a magazine writer from Canada and John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. are her siblings. Hennessy is of Irish French Swedish and Italian family ancestry from her father's side and mostly Ukrainian Roma as well as Austrian ancestry on her mother's. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School where she graduated Grand River Collegiate Institute and busked in Toronto. Hennessy's sister and she made their debut as twin call girls in the 1988 movie Dead Ringers. According to Gillian Anderson, the actress who won the role, she was nominated for the role in Dana Scully in The X-Files. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two kids.
